2007 National Achievement Award
At its 2007 Annual Conference held November 13-14, NPHQ announced the winners in the competition for the 2007 National
Achievement Award. The nominated projects all delivered exemplary quality for the taxpayer investment. The innovative
practices of the seventeen 2007 nominations were showcased in NPHQ's Award video shown at the conference luncheon.

Officials Sign Transportation Quality Charter

Officials this morning signed the Indiana Partnership for Transportation Quality Charter at the 2007 Purdue Road School. The charter is a cooperative effort by the state's highway industry to keep the roads and highways safe and improve the long-term performance and durability of the state's transportation system. It also will create a program to recognize quality achievement.

National Partnership for Highway Quality has announced the
winners of its 2004 "Making
A Difference" Awards.
The awards recognize innovations, practices and teamwork that
raise the bar for roadway performance, safety, and environmental
stewardship. Awards were given in four categories, Breaking
The Mold, Partnering, Riosk Taking, and State quality Initiatives. Click

Statement of Media Relations Principles
NPHQ is committed to its role as a source of information and
assistance to the news media. The organization strives to provide
the best possible content at every opportunity. It also seeks
to demonstrate that the roles of integrity, creativity, and service
so vital to the “quality” equation extend to interactions
with every stakeholder, including the media.
NPHQ’s goal when working with the media is to use every
means at its disposal to create a productive relationship with
individual members of the press in order to inform and engage
the organization’s customer, the roadway user.
